After seeing the conversation on IRC about blogs, I thought that this could be a good place where we share blogs we like to each other with some description and/or why we like it.
With the dominance of "devblogs", I feel like this could be a good thing in general, and I'd like to populate my RSS feed a bit more with interesting stuff as well!
I'm going to start with this one: Ludicity.
It is tangentially tech-related, but I feel it also mostly applies to other industries as well.
It's very much a "scream against the corporate world and the state of the industry" kind of blog, which resonates a lot with me. While many of those realisations are not new for me (but some are!), it still feels refreshing to see other people come to the same realisations about the industry, and see what was their experience with it and how they got there.
Understanding the corporate structure and mindset more is very much interesting to me, as it explains a lot of the behaviour I've witnessed before, and why companies can fail. That blog also helped me understand more how much more important sales are than I thought (and what sales are, exactly; they're not only about selling something).
I will also pick up a few of the books he mentions and see what they're about; but so far I have none to review, I'm not done with any of them yet. 🙂
