  • Tell me what to do with my donkpads

So for those that don't already know, I recently purchased a new (refurbished) thonkpad recently as I'll be going back to school so I can become an electrician. School did not like my t450 because it was too OLD and SLOW or something (i dunno seems fine to me).

Now I have a t480, a t450 and a x250. I've used the t450 as my work computer for programming and screwing around in krita on occasion, but now the t480 will take over in that regard. The x250 I mainly had as a thing I can take with me on travels as it does not have a bunch of SSH keys on it and stuff, so it's not a big deal if it gets stolen. That leaves me with a t450 and an x250 that don't do much besides being available to me.

Help I may be addicted to buying refurbished donkpads

You could take them out of their shells and use them as funny servers I guess?
Unlike basically permanently low-latency stuff like fanless macs they're not too useful outside of edge usecases imo, so...

toast I suppose I could use one for fucking around with docker I guess. However I already have a funny server with blinky lights 😃

I suppose I'll keep one under my bed in case I hear a burglar so I can wack his fucking brains out with it.
