twinspin For headless server use, it's pretty much there. What's missing are mostly video/GPU bits, such as HDMI output, GPU drivers, hardware acceleration for video encoding/decoding, HDMI capture; things like that.
If anyone wants to have a similar setup but functional, I would recommend one of Minisforum's computers, like the MS-A1. This one lets you have an AMD CPU that supports the AM5 socket, with the same amount of NVMe slots (with higher PCIe speeds), and 2.5GbE networking as well (but two ports instead of one!). You also get USB4, Oculink and better overall connectivity. The main thing here though is that you get an actually well-supported platform (AMD x86_64 without weird quirks), so you can be fairly certain you won't have to build your own distro or kernels just to get things running, and won't have to debug wonky ARM64 hardware. And, of course, it's already in a case, properly cooled, so you don't have to make one.
So far, I can't really recommend the CM3588.
